Make cash on the highway

Run oncoming traffic, claim the timed gift ladder up to 250,000 Cash, and clear the seven daily quests before you shop a hypercar.

Cash in Highway Legends comes from passing traffic at speed, from timed playtime gifts, and from daily quests. Codes are a one-time boost. They do not replace the highway loop.

Oncoming runs

  1. Open Settings before you leave spawn.
  2. Turn traffic collisions off if you want a wreck-free straight. Guides price that choice at a 0.7x cash rate.
  3. Point the car at oncoming traffic and hold a line between the slow and medium lanes.
  4. Run to the exit ramp, turn through the empty parking lot, and come back the other way.

One reported fresh-account session using that route made about 160,000 Cash and five levels in 10 minutes. Treat that as a single session, not a guaranteed rate. Faster cars raise the rate because payouts scale with speed.

A separate note in the same money write-up says standing still still drips about 140 Cash every 5 seconds. The large bundles are the timed gifts, not that drip.

Playtime gifts

Claim gifts from the gift icon at the bottom left. Published session tiers are:

Time in server Gift
5 minutes 25,000
10 minutes 40,000
20 minutes 60,000
30 minutes 85,000
60 minutes 125,000
90 minutes 175,000
120 minutes 250,000

Those seven tiers add up to 760,000 Cash if you stay for the full two hours. The top of the ladder is also described with a double-money booster. The 2x Money pass (249 Robux) is separate: its official text doubles income from cutting up, leveling, and finishing races.

Daily quests

Seven daily objectives are listed with these payouts, plus a 75,000 Cash bonus for clearing the whole set:

Objective Cash
Reach the end of the highway 20,000
Drive 15 miles 20,000
Hold 100+ mph for 15 seconds 20,000
Spend 30,000 on upgrades 15,000
Play for 20 minutes 25,000
Pass 100 traffic vehicles 25,000
Win a race 25,000

Weekly challenges are described as larger tasks, such as 500 passes or five race wins. Exact weekly amounts are not published as a stable table here.

Early car for the grind

The Competitor GT is listed at 219 mph stock. Stage 3 engine, Stage 3 turbo and supercharger, and Very Long gearing are reported to raise that to 245 mph without the Stage 4 pass. Super Long gearing is Stage 4 and costs the 199 Robux pass plus the install. Left-side lanes are described as the faster traffic flow when you are ready to keep a high speed without the collision toggle.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much cash do you start with?

A new profile starts with 40,000 Cash. That is enough for an entry car such as the Marker Hyperbird at 13,675 Cash. The Beam C2 is listed at 145,000 Cash, so it needs codes or a few highway runs first. Joining the developer group also unlocks the Adar DC16 Wagon from the Group tab without spending that starter cash.

What is a cut in Highway Legends?

A cut is a close pass through highway traffic. The official badges award 1,000 cuts, 5,000 cuts, and 10,000 cuts. Cash and XP also rise while you keep speed and pass civilian cars. Crashing ends the run, unless you have turned traffic collisions off.

Should traffic collisions be on?

Open Settings and turn traffic collisions off before a grind run. Guides describe that toggle as a 0.7x cash rate in exchange for driving through traffic without a wreck. Leave collisions on when you want the normal cut risk and the full rate.

How do you unlock Stage 4 tuning?

Stage 1 through Stage 3 engine, forced induction, brakes, and Very Long gearing are bought with cash, and you can skip straight to Stage 3. Stage 4 engine, turbo, supercharger, brakes, Drag Tires, and Super Long gearing require the Stage 4 Tuning Access pass, which is 199 Robux on the official pass list. The pass unlocks the parts. You still pay the in-game install cost.

Does a vehicle pass give the car for free?

Vehicle passes do not gift the cars. Tuner Vehicle Pass (249 Robux), Track Vehicle Pass (349 Robux), and Hyper Vehicle Pass (399 Robux) only open those dealership tabs. You still pay the car's cash price. VIP Pass (399 Robux) opens VIP cars and adds a chat tag, a group rank, and a server role after you join the listed community.
